The game is a major improvement mainly because of the environments, they are more detailed/realistic and the jets can take-off/land plus the missions are that bit more interesting. You have to do more in order to get the fighter jets you want by doing tiresome work gaining xp, they don’t come with each mission.

The campaign

The missions are more fulfilling. There is one or two missions were you’re given two orders and you have to fulfil them in a set time, making it very hard but challenging. Remember, the gameplay is in an arcade type fashion, so don’t take it seriously, it’s just for fun because in reality when you go up against an Su-37 in a harrier, you know the outcome.

Survival mode

This is where you put your air-to-air skills to the ultimate test. Tips: sometimes firing two missiles in a row gives you a better chance of destroying your enemy but take your time and don’t worry about the clock. Rapidly turn left and right to evade the satellite attacks at the end. Use an aircraft that stalls the least like the MiG-29/Su-37. In the first few waves, you’re up against moderate-difficulty jets like MiG-29s, but latter on you go up against the highly-manoeuvrable ones, like the Su-35BM and Su-47s.

Free flight

This mode is great and levels where you can land are plentiful. Here, try doing a cobra move with a highly-manoeuvrable aircraft.

The story was quite good in some parts, like the missions were based in different areas of the world, but the ending was awful, the way Makarov died by falling through a roof being hanged was not appealing. It would have been better if the last mission was set around a volcano and Makarov fell in it… now that would have been more appealing than fighting in a skyscraper, which has been done before.
Gameplay

The graphics are fine but the campaign was yet again too short but the “Survival mode” feature compensated for that. Without survival mode and special ops, the game would have been dull.
Weapons

The same weapons return as to the ones in modern warfare 2. There are few new ones but not enough to make significance.
Overall

It’s better than modern warfare 2 simply because the missions are that little bit more fulfilling and because of the survival mode which has a level system which makes the game that extra more fulfilling than its predecessor.

Weapons:

The game has more weapons and they sound more realistic as opposed to arcade style weapons like in MW2. Most of the weapons have a grenade launcher, it’s slightly effective, but the MW2 grenade launcher does more damage I’ve noticed.

Environments:

The environments are generally more detailed than MW2 and a lot more interesting to look at. One level has a huge desert-type environment in which you will definitely need a vehicle in order to explore it, unless you make the mistake of exploring by foot it will take a year. But for the most part, the environments you fight in are generally small-to-medium size.

Story:

It’s mainly about an special American military task force (like the Rangers), so most of the voices you hear are obviously American as opposed to MW2 it was not self-centred on America that much, it was international, like you had the British SAS in their.. MW2 was not entirely American in other words.

Winner: MW2

Vehicles:

They are a lot better than the MW2 ones, like you can drive army trucks/quad bikes, best of all is the attack helicopter though it is not featured much but is the best vehicle in the game by far.

Winner: Bad Company 2

Overall:

The game play is a lot more addicting and it’s generally more fun to play. After playing MW2 for a while, you will eventually get bored; this game does not get extremely-boring thanks to its more realistic weapons.

-The AK-47 sounds different to the one in Modern Warfare

-The M4 is the most repetitive and most boring sounding weapon

-The UMP45 is the most accurate sub-machine gun

-The L86 LSW light machine gun is the most accurate of its kind

-The M9 is the most accurate pistol

World at War:

-When you shoot the enemies, the graphic violence is more realistic as opposed to the voilence in MW2

-The game suffers from the occasional bug, like every now and then when you shoot the snipers in the trees repeatedly in campaign mode and they fail to take damage

-The KAR98 is the worst weapon and the flame flower due to its crappy range, along with all the pistols

The benefits of playing with your cat:

-Increases their predatory skills

-Improves their reflexes

-Improves your relationship with your cat

-Increase cat’s happiness

The benefits:

-Increased happyiness

-Fresh air

-Reduces body-fat

The key is do walking in moderation for about 40 minutes to an hour (daily as a rule). If you walk for hours on end, you will definitely encounter blisters. As with anything moderation is the key.

Read the “Readme.txt” file for instructions. Release in fall of 1998 by Nova Logic, the graphics are quite decent for the time. Fairly easy to play & quite realistic. In the game press “t”, and type in “never tell me the odds” and you can’t be hit. Also make your own flight plan in the “Map” option. Play with keyboard or joystick, the game is really simple.
